Founder and CEO
Dr. Vasanne Tinsley, a transformative force in the field of education, is the visionary founder of The Tinsley Group. With a career spanning over three decades, Dr. Tinsley has left an indelible mark on urban education through her commitment and multifaceted expertise.
Beginning as a school counselor, Dr. Tinsley's journey traversed various roles, including central office Assistant Director, Deputy Director, and educator, showcasing her deep understanding of the intricacies of the education system. Her ascendancy to the role of Interim Superintendent for Dekalb County Schools underscored her leadership acumen and dedication to effecting positive change.
Retiring in 2020 marked a pivotal moment in Dr. Tinsley's career, as she channeled her passion and insights into founding The Tinsley Group. Driven by a mission to revolutionize urban education, she brings to the table not just experience, but a profound understanding of the pitfalls and challenges faced by educational leaders.
